  1. Sono italiano e purtroppo in Italia i puritani sono completamente sconosciuti. Non abbiamo molti libri se non qualcosa di Jonathan Edwards, uno di John Owen e pochi altri. La presenza del cattolicesimo Romano è ancora molto forte e le chiese riformate sono pochissime. La maggior parte dei protestanti sono diventati tutti pentecostali con le loro dottrine affini al cattolicesimo (come direbbe Edwards) “gli entusiasti” hanno preso il posto della sana dottrina predicata dai puritani. Non conosco l’inglese ma Google mi aiuterà a tradurre. Grazie per questo incredibile archivio! Dio sia lodato.

    “I am Italian and unfortunately in Italy the puritans are completely unknown. We don’t have many books except something by Jonathan Edwards, one by John Owen and a few others. The presence of Roman Catholicism is still very strong and the Reformed churches are very few. Most Protestants have all become Pentecostals with their doctrines akin to Catholicism (as Edwards would say) “enthusiasts” have taken the place of the sound doctrine preached by the Puritans. I don’t know English but Google will help me translate. Thank you for this incredible archive! God be praised.”
